Manitex Valla, a global leader in mobile industrial cranes, has launched its brand new radio-controlled ultra-compact electric mobile crane V36R.

Thanks to its width of only 900 mm and a maximum height of 1650 mm, the new ‘Pick & Carry’ crane can also pass small industrial doors, easily bypass obstacles and enable work in corridors and areas with limited space. its turning radius is only 2155mm.

The versatile and user-friendly Valla V36R is the ideal solution for working indoors and on sensitive surfaces that require considerable maneuverability in confined spaces such as airports, shopping centers and industrial surfaces due to its low weight and therefore lower ground pressure.

It offers an excellent combination of lifting height / reach and lifting capacity: a maximum capacity of 3600 kg and a lifting height of 7.5 meters, a maximum horizontal reach of 4.75 meters with a capacity of 500 kg; These capabilities allow the operator to lift, move and position loads without compromising on performance and precision.

The new V36R combines the same family feeling as the “R-Series” introduced by Valla in 2020 with front-wheel drive with powerful AC traction electric motors on the front to maximize on-site efficiency and removable counterweights for better transport flexibility.

The new ultra-compact Valla is characterized by simple and intuitive operation and is the ideal tool for all applications that require a maneuvering machine with excellent performance and a very high level of safety.

The technical features that make the new V36R a machine with great potential in the “micro” size include: the 220-bar hydraulic system, the 180-degree rear wheel steering, electro-hydraulic brakes and the on-board loader; In addition, various options are available to complete the crane, making it versatile and suitable for the most specific needs: such as hydraulic winch and folding jib.

“The main goal we set ourselves when designing the new V36R was to combine maximum performance and versatility with minimum dimensions,” says Carlo Forini, General Manager of Manitex Valla. In short, this new model is the solution for the growing demands on the safe handling of loads in confined spaces. A crane that can fully meet market expectations in terms of safety, performance, size and of course environmental protection. “

“We all know that the issues of ‘safe’ and ‘green’ are increasingly at the center of the debate. It is no coincidence that regulations are becoming increasingly stringent around the world, ”said Steve Filipov, CEO of Manitex International. “Valla has offered itself as a proactive company since 1945 and today. Our mission is to offer solutions that help companies and landlords to master the challenges of the present and the future. At the same time, we offer our experience and technology to increase productivity by achieving better returns from both an economic and an environmental point of view. “
