Rokbak is the new name for Terex trucksThe new brand represents the continuation of its strong van legacy with a future-oriented vision. Over the past four decades, the company has never let up on its promise to its customers to deliver high performance and reliable articulated haulers – and that legacy remains at the heart of the new brand. At the same time, the Rokbak name represents an exciting new future, reflecting the significant strides the company has made in recent years and its new strategic priorities.

“Our company has an incredible history and a proud heritage,” said Paul Douglas, Managing Director. “We became part of the Volvo Group seven years ago, which has allowed us to make significant improvements in all areas of our business. Millions of pounds have been spent improving our products, upgrading our facilities, expanding our network, and developing our people. It was a process of continuous development. That is why we think it is right to honor this development with a new brand name in order to open an exciting new chapter in our history. And we will continue to invest to further improve our machines for our customers. “

Articulated dumpers that do not buckle under pressure

The company’s significant investments and improvements in articulated haulers recently have made them some of the toughest and most reliable machines on the market. Well, with their basis in the previous models of Terex trucks, Rokbak’s 28-ton RA30 and 38-ton RA40 are the most productive and efficient articulated haulers the company has ever built.

As part of the new brand launch, the machines are now available in Rokbak colors and finishes. While maintaining the experienced design, craftsmanship and precision synonymous with the company’s haulers, the RA30 and RA40 offer better fuel economy, lower emissions, improved safety and longer durability. With a rugged design built to last, the haulers handle hard work with ease and increase customer productivity no matter how difficult the conditions are.

“We are very happy to present our new brand and of course our freight forwarders are the showcase”, so on Paul Douglas. “Rokbak stands for power, performance and reliability. We already have a very good order backlog for the new brand and want to further expand our reputation, our dealer network and our market share. We are still the same qualified, experienced and passionate” team that is works every day to build rock-solid dumpers. But we also have a clear vision of where we want to go and who we want to be. “

Rokbak has your back

As part of the Volvo Group, Rokbak has grown steadily over the past seven years. Although this happened across the board, it is particularly pronounced in four key areas: product design, sustainability, safety and people.

In product design, the company has introduced Stage V engines to improve fuel efficiency and operation for customers. Other improvements include a new gearbox on the 28-ton (30.9-ton) machine, the introduction of haul track telematics, and a greater focus on driver wellbeing and safety. With a view to sustainability, the company’s production facility has switched to 100% renewable energies and works according to science-based goals and ISO standards, as well as with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions.

The focus on security was emphasized in all areas, but especially with the employees. Changes in the processes in the factory have seen a greater focus on maintaining employee safety while maintaining high standards and low downtime. For the employees of the company at the heart of Rokbak, there is an ongoing focus on professional development so that the team is at the forefront of skills and expertise. Similarly, the operating standards and training for dealers ensure that the expanded dealer network continues to provide the highest level of service.

“We are proud and pleased that the modernized Rokbak brand continues to be an integral part of our organization,” said Melker Jernberg, President Volvo CE and Executive Vice President Volvo Group. “We believe in a sustainable future, innovation and the strength of our employees and see all of this bundled in Rokbak. At the same time, the company has its own personality, heritage and loyal customer base and it will be exciting to see the brand evolve as it embarks on this new leg of its journey. “
