At Sarens Siba we have the noble mission to be the reference in crane rental, heavy lifting and technical transport for our customers in the region of southern Africa.
With the latest equipment and value engineering, we offer our customers creative and intelligent solutions for today’s challenges in the field of heavy lifting and technical transport.
As part of our growth and business plan, in this issue we are introducing our Sasolburg depot, which mainly focuses on the petrochemical players and their contractors in the Vaal triangle.
Sarens Siba opened its Sasolburg depot in the Eco Industrial Business Park in April 2018. Our area sales manager Abrie Burger was there from the start. “The last two years have been challenging times for us. We have worked very hard on our new brand since we last served our customers in the Vaal Triangle about 10 years ago, ”says Abrie Burger. “If you ask me what the most exciting part of my job is, we will introduce our new brand“ Sarens Siba ”to our customers.
It encouraged me to promote Sarens Siba, our renamed name and Level 1 BBBEE company, and introduce this to our customers. Our company has gone through a management change and has focused on overhauling our equipment to bring it back to European mechanical standards. It is very important for our customers to be able to bring this to the table for our customers. When our customers need a crane, Sarens Siba is a reliable partner. ”
In our depot we look after our customers within
the Vaal triangle, which requires crane rental, heavy lifting, and technical transportation. By using our decentralization strategy from our headquarters in Brakpan
We strive to do justice to our customers by being on their doorstep. We started a long-term job with two smaller 30T cranes for one of our customers. Today we have expanded our depot to a fleet of 14 cranes that are mobile from 20 to 160 tons. “
“The added value that this depot brings for our customers is enormous,” says Abrie Burger.
“To give an example, one of the questions one of our customers asked was: What do we do differently than other companies in terms of localization strategy? I still remember going back to the office
There we revised our localization strategy, which is currently available in our depot. We not only employ on-site employees, but also train our staff and work with our suppliers to identify people who
We can also send to other projects. Today employees work in our Sasolburg depot in different parts of our country. It is no longer restricted to Sasolburg. “
In general, our customers need our services for the maintenance, shutdown and project work of plants. By being on your doorstep, we can respond more quickly to your needs and avoid downtime for your system. We are within 3 miles of most petrochemical plants and their contractors.
In addition to the general maintenance and lifting that we perform on site, customers can come to us for their planned shutdown activities. Sarens Siba offers full operational and fleet services for downtime. “Last year we performed several shutdowns, one of which reached more than 30 cranes, including operators, security guards and site management. Everything was carried out without any loss of time and without accidents or incidents on site. Our focus during downtime is on safety and operational excellence. “
As we go beyond the challenges of COVID, we strive to provide ongoing services, monitor and explore opportunities as market conditions change, improve our systems and processes, and provide excellent services to our customers with the highest safety standards.
NOTHING TOO DIFFICULT, NOTHING TOO HIGH.
