Barnabas – 9-10 a.m. (Saturdays), free takeaway breakfast; 11 am-1pm free shopping in store, 931 Saunders Ave.

Rock’s boutique event – 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., September 4th. Lots of free clothes for kids, adults and other household items, all free, in memory of Debbie Boltz’s son. Donations and volunteers are needed to hang clothes and tidy up the area. Please call Debbie Boltz at 402-490-7569 to volunteer at Havelock Christian Church, 6520 Colfax Ave.

Back-to-school jam with the String Beans Band at First Presbyterian Church – 5-7 p.m. 12th September. Live music and barbecue with hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. Bring your kids, families, and friends. When the weather is nice, free event and parking, Parking Lot East, 840 S. 17th St.
