Terex Cranes’ new TRT 90 is the latest in the company’s Terex Rough Terrain (TRT) range.
The TRT range includes the new generation of the Terex Operating System (TEOS) that combines proven features with a 10-inch full-color touchscreen display that uses an intuitive user interface to maximize efficient and safe operation and maintenance.
The TRT 90 with a capacity of 100 USt is the second model in the TRT series, which also includes the TRT 80 with 90 USt.
Both models have a full power proportional boom mode that gives the operator the best lifting performance and any boom length. The 154 ‘boom of the TRT 90 offers a maximum hook height of 148’. Adding a 29.5′-55.8 ‘boom gives a maximum tip height of 216.5’.
The modular counterweight of the TRT80 can be assembled in various combinations so that the total weight can be reduced if necessary. The TRT 90 has the same self-removable ballast as its predecessor (RT 90), so that no auxiliary cranes are required.
An important feature of both cranes is a total width of only 3 m, which means that they can be easily transported and maneuvered even on congested construction sites and in tight / narrow areas. Maneuverability is also improved with four steering options.
