MV Commercial has committed to purchase 100 new specialty cranes from Hiab UK and Ireland. The Airdrie-based company will add light, medium and heavy loader cranes to its inventory of specialty cranes for sale or rental in 2021 and 2022.
Demand for high-specification truck cranes is growing, so the £ 5m deal will help MV Commercial invest in new machinery as they recover from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit.
MV Commercial is already one of the largest crane vehicle suppliers in the UK and expects the business of all 100 loader cranes equipped with Hiab’s HiConnect telematics system to consolidate its position in the market to improve productivity.
