Hiab X-HiPro 099R roller loader with brick grab
Marshalls, a traditional Hiab user, has ordered 108 new Hiab loader cranes for eight years, with HiConnect telematics and ProCare repair and maintenance contracts.
The cranes ordered are the mid-range Hiab X-HiDuo 138 B-2 loader cranes with Hiab brick handles. They are supplied by Hiab to Massey Truck Engineering, who installs them on truck-trailer combinations, as well as the Hiab X-HiPro 099R brick-handled roller loaders installed on SDC trailers, which is a construction specification platform trailer.
Marshalls Director of Logistics, Nigel Basey, said: “After a market assessment testing current crane models and gathering critical feedback from our drivers, Hiab was selected as the crane supplier for Marshalls. We were particularly impressed by the additional benefits of the HiConnect system as well as the high service levels that have already been achieved for the existing Hiab fleet. “
