A man has died after a window lifted by a crane collapsed on a York University construction site, Toronto police said.
According to the updates released on duty, shortly after 11:10 a.m. on Monday, officers, paramedics and the Toronto Fire Department were called on the corner of James Gillies Street and The Pond Road on the southeast corner of the Keele campus.
Officials said the man died on the scene.
The Ontario Department of Labor was called in to investigate the circumstances that led to the incident.
