Ford Super Duty – WARN winch.

You get a winch, you get a winch, everyone gets a winch! Okay, it’s not that simple, but Ford is extending the availability of the factory option 12,000 lbs warning winch to more new Super Duty trucks starting in 2020. Up until that point, the winch was on the Super Duty Tremor F-250 and F-350 2020 available. It wasn’t available at the 2020 Tremor Truck launch but is available now as some owners already have this option on their recently purchased trucks.

The factory option winch is priced at $ 3,000. It can be ordered as an option from the factory or added later at a Ford dealer for $ 3,000 plus manpower. It is not part of the Ford Performance Parts catalog. Ford is now expanding the availability of this integrated winch to other F-250 and F-350 models, but not all.

The winch can be added for Super Duty trucks from 2020, equipped with either a 7.3 liter gas V8 or a 6.7 liter turbodiesel V8 engine. These must be 4 × 4 equipped with two batteries and two alternator options. The 12,000 pound winch motor may need a lot of juice, so the trucks in question must be able to deliver a lot of electricity.

The customer can start ordering the winch for his new Super Duty trucks 2020+ from April 8, 2021.
