Gary Lane has been named North American Sales Manager for Link Belt Cranes effective February 1st. Bill Stramer, senior vice president of marketing, sales, and customer care, announced the announcement at Link-Belt’s headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.
Lane is a 15 year veteran of the crane business and is highly valued by crane industry professionals. He originally worked as District Manager for the central USA at Link-Belt Cranes in 2008. For the past nine years, he led crane sales for Link Belt crane dealer General Equipment and Supplies Company, Inc., based in Minneapolis. Minnesota. Lane holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.
“Gary’s strong background in crane distribution and end-users gives him all the skills he needs for his new role,” said Stramer. “Gary’s management experience will help him continue the legacy of successful leadership of Link-Belt’s North American sales team.”
Lane and his family will be moving to Lexington in the coming months. When Gary is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, and canoeing.
