New hydraulic truck crane 120 | HT from Link-Belt Cranes

Link cranes

Link-Belt Cranes has developed the new hydraulic truck crane 120 | HT with a lifting capacity of 120 US tons packed with features and a new look to match. The series models of the new hydraulic truck-mounted crane are to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Ride quality

The four-axle 120 | HT has a new, wider one-person cabin that takes up design elements of the all-terrain crane 175 | AT. The 120 | HT also features a completely new air suspension design, the first of its kind for car buyers. The suspension and braking system is the result of a two-year collaboration with the suspension manufacturer Hendrickson International. Air disc brakes, another first in the hydraulic truck crane market, will improve braking performance and reduce maintenance time.

transportability

The counterweight payload increases from 16,000 pounds on the HTC-86110 to 20,500 pounds on the new 120 | HT with no boom dolly. The full counterweight for the 120 | HT is 49,100 pounds. The increased counterweight payload is the result of a strategic design approach to reduce the overall weight of the 120 | HT, coupled with increased power rating on the front steering axles, to 26,000 pounds each.

Fuel efficiency has increased with the introduction of the Cummins X12 overhead cam engine, which is EPA 2021 compliant. The top speed of the 120 | HT is 62 mph. Link-Belt has improved access for daily service checks such as fill points, filters and lubrication points.

Upper, higher

The 120 | RT offers excellent reach with a 6-section 38.3 – 164.1 foot pin-and-latch shaped boom designed to match Link-Belt’s specific boom profile and tolerances. An available two-piece fly that can be moved on board offers more flexibility and reach and can be manually moved by 0, 15, 30 and 45 degrees. Two 16 foot trellis extensions provide a maximum center height of 261.7 feet.

Features like Link-Belt SmartFly, Link-Belt’s patented one-person fly straightening technology, and a wireless rigging remote control to control your outriggers, outriggers and jacks, boom hoist and winches make set up quicker and easier with increased efficiency.

The new driver’s cab offers a wide entry and exit, USB and 12-volt power supply as well as more storage space with interior lighting. The view from the seat is unobstructed in any weather with large, curved windshield wipers at the front and top and strategically placed vents for quick defrosting.
