UK rental and contractor Vacuum and Crane has appointed Matthew Wood as national sales director.
Wood joins the company after 17 months at the lifting and transport company Rapid Response Solutions, where he was the national sales manager for contract lifts. Before that, he worked for tower crane specialist Radius Group for a year and a half after joining the company in 2018 as sales and business development manager before becoming commercial manager of the contract lifting department nine months later. Wood spent a year and a half as sales manager for Osprey Heavy Lift in 2017 and a similar time in 2015 as sales manager for Midlands for Baldwins Crane Hire.
Wood said, “It is an exciting time to join Vacuum and Crane as the company expands the service offering to its customer base. We have numerous developments in both equipment and staff that will be announced in the coming months. Vacuum and Crane have an excellent reputation in the industry and I look forward to contributing to the future expansion and success of the business. “

Vacuum and Crane, based outside of Kidderminster, specializes in glazing and siding installation and has a fleet of mini crawler and trailer cranes and a wide range of vacuum attachments.
