DSM’s books AK52
This is the fifth DSM Böcker crane purchased by DSM and follows two new AK 46/6000 machines that were purchased last summer.
The Böcker AK 52 has a telescopic boom with a range of up to 52 meters and an optional extension of three meters for a maximum length of 55 meters. It is made of aluminum instead of stainless steel and can lift a maximum of 12 tons or 3 tons at a height of 31 meters and a radius of 17 meters.
Features include a fully hydraulically extendable boom, wireless color remote control with automatic leveling and variable positioning of each boom.
The new crane from DSM is mounted on a four-axle 32-ton carrier vehicle with rear steering.
DSM Managing Director Melvyn Rogers said: “The AK 52 truck crane is an excellent addition to our fleet. Böcker’s customer service is second to none. Our customers and operators love the safe and efficient machines that work reliably every day. It’s a win-win situation for us at DSM. Many more of these cranes will come to us in our next investment phase. “
