Dave Grohl tells a new commercial for Ram Trucks.

The display begins with the Foo Fighters Frontman recites a list of ways to “make a rock star”.

“Start young,” says Grohl of recordings of parents and their children taking part in various activities together, including dancing and playing baseball.

“Let them fail and be there when they do,” he continues. “Teach them what you know and let them teach you what you don’t. Believe in their dreams – the crazier, wilder and more absurd the better. Because it’s the best of us to get the best out of them. “

The commercial ends with the message “We all have a rock star” while Foo Fighters’ Medicine plays “Making a Fire” in the background at midnight.
