A large all-terrain crane tipped over in downtown Sacramento, California on Saturday as it was preparing to lift – or possibly preparing to leave the site.

The crane, a large Grove from the Bragg fleet, looks like a seven-axle 450 ton GMK 7550. It looks like the crane has tipped to one side while lifting the boom freely on wheels from the trailer or with the assembly starts the rear boom.

The crane tilted 45 degrees and was prevented from tipping completely on its side by the counterweight trailer. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident and the crane was recovered and driven back to the company yard during the day.
The only information we have is that security teams made sure that no one except those involved could get near the crane. Two videos from local news broadcasts clearly show the scene.
