A MEDICAL center team received praise after a visit by Rep. Simon Baynes of Clwyd South.

On May 7th, Mr. Baynes paid a socially distant visit to meet the team and specifically to discuss their successful work in running the Covid-19 vaccination program at Crane Medical Center in Cefn Mawr.

During the visit, he thanked the staff for their tireless efforts on behalf of the residents and the local community.

He met the head of the practice and partner, Dr. Jayesh Patel; the practice manager and partner, Sushila Manilal; Assistant Practice Manager Darron Kelly; practice pharmacist Anne Lewis and receptionist Barbara Davies.

Sushila Manilal said, “It has always been our top priority and joy to serve the health needs of our patients and the local community.

“The Covid pandemic has only reinforced our commitment to making sure we are doing our part to vaccinate and protect as many of them as possible.

“As a practice, we would like to thank all patients who have reported and vaccinated, and for all your friendly and positive comments on the organization and implementation of the clinics in both the Crane Medical Center and the local vaccination center in Plas Madoc Leisure Center.

“Our final comment would be to ask those who have not yet been vaccinated to come forward.

“Together we will triumph over adversity and forge a” new “tomorrow – until then, please continue to adhere to government guidelines for the safety of you and everyone else.”
