A manufacturer of Yorkshire crane cameras was picked up by a US group.

BlokCorp was acquired by The Crosby Group, a global leader in lifting, rigging and load securing hardware, a specialist in lifting, rigging and load securing hardware.

Products include BlokCam camera systems for tower and mobile cranes, as well as the recently launched BlokAlert, an audiovisual warning system that notifies crane operators when workers are in danger.

The company, headquartered in Hull, develops and manufactures innovative camera and alarm systems for tower and mobile cranes.

The transaction is the Crosby Group’s fifth investment since 2019. BlokCorp will become part of a newly established Technology Solutions division.
