RANCHO PALOS VERDES – A crane tipped over and landed on a house in Rancho Palos Verdes on Monday April 26, causing a small portion of the roof to collapse. Nobody was injured.

The crane was at the residence installing mental pillars for a solar field in the back yard when it fell over, Narvaez said. It wasn’t immediately clear why the crane overturned.
The homeowners were at the residence when the crane fell on the roof, although no one was injured, Narvaez said.
Cal / OSHA investigators were called in because the accident occurred during a construction contract, Narvaez said.
Firefighters were standing by and would remove the crane once Cal / OSHA completed its investigation, Narvaez said.
