Chunabhatti police have booked three Dilip Buildcon Ltd employees for defrauding Rs 70 lakh in the name of depositing tax on trucks in Andhra Pradesh. Police said three employees were hired to deposit taxes on trucks bought for work in Andhra Pradesh, but the defendant never deposited any money with the RTO and fraud surfaced after the company was notified by the RTO . Dilip Buildcon Ltd manager Kanhaiyalal Verma filed a complaint stating that three employees identified as Ashutosh Chaturvedi, Shivanak Kumar and Prayankant were involved in the work and at RTO taxes for 82 for the project in Andhra Pradesh had to deposit trucks purchased but the three deposited half the tax and fraudulently kept the remaining half, which was Rs 70 lakh, and later they stopped working for the company. The company was unaware of the fraud and later RTO issued a notice on behalf of the company stating that the company learned of the fraud and, upon investigation, found that employees were involved in the fraud.
