OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A convoy of trucks departed Oklahoma City on Friday and headed for Louisiana, each truck loaded with supplies for Hurricane Ida victims.
Oklahoma City-based nonprofit Feed the Children dispatched a five-part caravan laden with a total of £ 200,000 of supplies that will be donated to approximately 2,000 people in New Orleans, Lafayette and Houma.

“And we provide bottled water, a 25-pound box of groceries, a 15-pound box of personal care items, and cleaning supplies. And we also have a kids backpack set that includes toys, toiletries and a comfort coloring book, ”said Gary Sloan of Feed the Children.
