Comansa’s 21LC550 is developing into two new flat crane models.
The 21LC series now includes the 21LC600 and 21LC650, which can deliver a maximum load of 20 and 25 tons and can be mounted with ranges of 30 to 80 meters with configurations every 5 meters. This enables a maximum point load of up to 4.95 tons. Both models have an optional boom configuration that allows the total reach at the tip to be extended to 85 meters.
Compared to the 21LC550 flat crane, the lifting capacities of the 21LC600 are on average 16 percent higher and the 21LC650 23 percent higher.
The new cranes have a shorter, modular counter jib from 24.4 to 16.4 meters and up to five possible configurations. The counter-jib concept was previously included in the 21LC750, 21LC1050 and 21LC1400 and offers better adaptation to the working configuration in the tightest of spaces.
Another innovation is the improved access to the turntable and the rotating part. The kathead has been redesigned to facilitate the passage of lifting cables, including a welded ladder that allows access to the highest part without the need for the cabin platform. The cabin platform can now be accessed directly via the turntable thanks to the folding ladder, which prevents falls while working on the upper level and improves portability.
Both crane models offer a double wagon system (DT) with automatic switchover as standard and have the optional availability of a single wagon (ST), which simplifies maintenance work and at the same time increases the load capacity with short jib lengths.
The height self-supporting with a built-in base can reach up to 85.8 meters. In addition, the tower sections for both models are 2.5 square meters.
Comansa has also introduced a new climbing cage for the new flat cranes.
The J3A-11, which follows the concept of the J3-20, offers a greater length and a greater distance between the rollers thanks to the additional elevator supplied, which can also be transported in standard containers or trucks. This saves time in re-scaling.

For the elevator motors, the standard for the 20-ton version is 50 kW and for the 25-ton version 65 kW.
The 110 kW motor is optional for both versions, with a speed of up to 290 meters per minute and a maximum capacity of 1,570 meters of cable.
The standard Effi-Plus technology significantly increases the lifting and lowering speed with light loads and shortens the work cycles without increasing performance or consumption.
The modularity of the Comansa cranes enables certain boom sections within the 21LC crane series to be exchanged. This allows landlords to reduce their inventory levels and optimize their investments, as they can order these new cranes with a shorter boom length if they have previous cranes of the same series in stock.
Both models are equipped with the L version of the CUBE cabin as standard. The XL is optionally available. The design of the CUBE is safer, more comfortable and offers the operator a complete view of the load and the work area, so that operations can be carried out more easily thanks to the integrated digital control technology.
The 21LC600 and 21LC650 flat top tower cranes can be used for residential and commercial building construction, as well as power plants, mining, bridges and other highly dedicated infrastructures.
