A huge herd of migratory cranes took some time to refuel on the Platte River in Nebraska on March 23.
The Crane Trust habitat conservation group counted approximately 574,000 sandhill cranes in the Central Platte River Valley area two days earlier.
This year the group offered virtual migration tours for the first time COVID-19 pandemic.
