Australian crane rental company Northwest Crane Hire has taken delivery of the first 100-ton Liebherr LRT 1100-2.1 rough-terrain crane to be delivered in the country, as well as a 300-ton LTM 1300-6.2 all-terrain crane.
The two-axis LRT 1100-2.1 has a 50-meter main boom with five sections, a 10.5-meter extension and the Variobase system for setting up an automatic boom with several positions. The crane went straight to a construction project.
The six-axle LTM 1300-6.2 has a 78-meter main boom with seven sections and a 70-meter luffing boom.

Norwest Crane Hire, based in Pilbara, Western Australia, claims to have the youngest fleet in the region, which includes 18 Liebherrs at two locations as well as pick & carry and loading cranes.
