CRANE, Texas (Nexstar) – A 26-year-old Amarillo woman was killed after an accident near Crane over the weekend, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The soldiers were called to crash on Highway 385 about a mile south of Crane at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
During the investigation, soldiers learned that Stephanie Tijerina was traveling south on Highway 385 and, according to a press release, was not staying in her lane, which collided with a semi-trailer truck heading north.
Soldiers say Tijerina was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
