The ALL Family of Companies added five new Manitowoc cranes to the crawler crane fleet. The package includes all five cranes, a selection of jibs and jibs. In order to reach targeted customer markets, the company has decided to purchase two Manitowoc 14000 Series 3 and three MLC300 VPC Series 3 crawler cranes.

Manitowoc worked closely with Rick Mikut, ALL Cranes’ head of crawler cranes, to upgrade the 14000 Series 3 to 220 ton capacity. These adjustments included improving the cab and adding counterweights to increase the load chart when the boom is fully extended, placing grinders on bridge work.

With the five new additions and the additional attachments purchased, ALL Crane can offer its customers additional options depending on their preference, while increasing the flexibility to adapt the equipment to specific applications.

ALL Crane buys additional attachments:

  • MLC650 VPC wide boom (two)
  • MLC300 VPC wide extension arm
  • 14000 luffing jib
  • 999 luffing jib
  • MLC300 VPC-MAX attachment
  • MLC650 VPC-MAX attachment

The purchased crawlers and attachments expand the company’s ability to work in infrastructure, industrial and plant maintenance. In addition, the wide boom extensions help achieve safer performance in windy conditions.

“When building and repairing wind power, for example, being able to work safely at an additional 5 miles per hour is an advantage when you are working this high,” Mikut said.
